Alliance Française in partnership with Rangi Gallery are happy to present Memories of The Unknown, an exhibition featuring sculptures, paintings and sound by Eltayeb Dawelbait (SU/KE) and Safina Kimbokota (TZ).
While Eltayeb’s work will focus on collecting materials that have been discarded that he gives new life and value to the once forgotten materials; Safina’s work will shed light on the issues that arise as a woman is giving birth and creating new life using her own personal experience of motherhood to guide her sculptures.
