
Also known as Lute, he expresses his ideas with any form of mediums such as any recycled materials, pencil, charcoal, colors and brushes to canvas, paper or woodcut engraving.
His creativity has no boundaries; it comes through memories, experiences, hopes and aspirations in the form of color, form and objects with the impressions of figurative images for social caricature or political messages and derived from daily life, lifestyle and occurrences thus creating dialogue, and beauty pieces while relating to his audience.
Lute has participated in several art exhibitions both solo and group. In the spirit of developing his talent and fostering personal growth, he has participated in different technical art workshops, art residences and art training skills local and International. He worked with numerous Companies, NGOs, Ministries, Association and Book Publishers for different Art Projects. He has received various awards from different art contests such as being the first winner of the Oscars of African Creativity 2019, Cairo Egypt.
Lute considers himself a fine art artist and textile designer at the Nyumba ya Sanaa Arts & Crafts Center for more than 20 years, since 1992. He based his Art Studio at the Nafasi Art Space, Centre for Contemporary Art in Dar es Salaam Tanzania. He is a Board member of Tanzania Federation of Crafts and Arts.
