These Terms and Conditions (“the Terms and Conditions”) govern your (“the User”) use of the Rangi Gallery website located at the domain name www.rangigallery.com (“the Website”) and Rangi Gallery (“the Provider”). By accessing and using the Website, the User agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out in this legal notice. The User may not access, display, use, download, and/or otherwise copy or distributes content obtained on the website for marketing and other purposes without the consent of the Provider.
Rangi Gallery strives to maintain excellent customer experience. Therefore, the section below describes Rangi Gallery’s policy on shipping and refunds for all products and services purchased through this platform.
Rangi Gallery ships artwork globally and using a logistics provider depending on the size of the artwork and delivery location. Rangi Gallery will prepare and pack all purchased artwork to ensure safety during the shipping process. Shipping costs are determined by the weight of the artwork including its packaging and the buyer’s location. The cost of shipping includes insurance of the artwork provided by the logistics provider, also known as the shipping agent. Title and risk of loss for all products ordered by the buyer shall pass to the buyer on Rangi Gallery’s shipment to the shipping agent. For loss or damage of a package, the shipping agent will be responsible in completing the search process and resolving the matter; Rangi Gallery will facilitate the conversation.
Requests will be processed within a maximum of 14 working days and handed over to the shipping agent for delivery; however, this is subject to the availability of the artwork with the artists and receipt of payment. Rangi Gallery will not be responsible for receiving and processing an order with an incorrect shipping address. Rangi Gallery has no control over certain delays such as customs delays. Generally, for local deliveries within Tanzania, artwork will be delivered within seven (7) working days; for international deliveries, purchased artwork will be delivered within 21 working days once the order has been dispatched to the shipping agent and you have received a tracking ID.
Cancelled orders by the customer will be refunded after a 15% charge deduction for administration costs. In the case of insufficient stock or the quality of the product purchased does not meet Rangi Gallery standards, the Gallery has the right to cancel an order for which payment has been received and the client will receive a full refund with no deduction.
Shipping times can be affected by factors over which Rangi Gallery has no control, including incorrect delivery addresses, weather, courier and customs delays. Local customs and immigration agencies determine any duties or taxes that may be levied against packages arriving from outside the destination country. Our freight charges do not include any tariffs, duties or brokerage fees which may occur when the product reaches your country. Any and all such charges will be solely the responsibility of the buyer.
International duties, tariffs and taxes are not included in your checkout total. Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which we are shipping permits the shipment of your products. Rangi Gallery is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices. However, the Gallery will be willing to contact our shipping agent to see if they can provide information on your package if it is delayed.
Rangi Gallery cannot be responsible for any additional costs incurred by the buyer of orders due to shipment delays and failures.

You are eligible for a refund within 10 calendar days after the delivery date if you are dissatisfied with your purchase due to an error on our part.
You are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, but not including original shipping costs, only if your return is a result of an error on our part. To receive a refund, you must return your item directly to us within 10 calendar days of the estimated delivery date and in the same condition you received it in.
In cases where the product is returned to us for any of the following reasons, the refund price includes product price only: incomplete address, unclaimed, returned to sender, or similar.

Returned items should be returned in the original packaging with any enclosed documentation. We will issue a full refund on receipt, excluding the original delivery charge. The item is the buyer’s responsibility until it is delivered to Rangi Gallery. Therefore, for your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
There are no refunds on items damaged in shipping. In that case, you must file a claim with the shipping agent. We do not refund shipping costs, mobile money fees or credit card fees. They will be deducted from the total amount of your refund. In case of a refund, either partial or full, the transaction fees incurred by Rangi Gallery will be deducted from the refund amount.
The client has an obligation to respond to any communication either written or oral in order to facilitate delivery. Failure to which, Rangi Gallery will retain the product for 10 more calendar days.
Rangi Gallery charges value added tax (VAT) for merchandise ordered on this site based on Tanzania’s tax rate of 18%.
If the User’s payment is not received within five (5) days of an order being placed, then the order will be deemed to be null & void. All artwork purchased will be provided to You along with a certificate of authenticity from the original creator/provider of the artwork.
The Provider reserves the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The User’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.
All intellectual property rights, including copyright, in the content of Rangi Gallery web pages, books and eBooks and trademarks, logos and service marks displayed on the site are owned, controlled by Rangi Gallery. In accessing the site pages, books and eBooks, you agree that you may only download and use the content for your own individual and non-commercial use. You are not permitted to copy, broadcast, download, store (in any medium), transmit, show in public, adapt or change in any way the content of the web pages, books or eBooks for any other purpose whatsoever without the prior written permission of Rangi Gallery. Except as set out above, these Terms do not grant, and nothing in these Terms should be construed as granting any licences or rights to use any of our intellectual property rights including artworks without prior consent of the creator and Rangi Gallery.
Although the information on this Website is accessible worldwide, not all products or services discussed in this Web site are available to all persons or in all geographic locations or jurisdictions. Rangi Gallery and the advertisers each reserve the right to limit the provision of their products or services to any person, geographic area, or jurisdiction they so desire and to limit the quantities of any products or services that they provide. Any offer for any product or service made in the materials on this Web site is void where prohibited.
This User Agreement shall commence from the date on which it is published on the Website and continue indefinitely, as reviewed periodically by Rangi Gallery, for so long as the Website exists and is operational, Rangi Gallery being entitled to terminate this User Agreement and/or shut down the Website at any time.

All personal information collected through this website will be held securely in accordance to Article 16 of the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania
